About quoting
No. A real quote means we walk your property, look at the surfaces, ask what you want done, and send a written scope with the actual cost. A phone quote is a guess. The painter who guesses low gets the job and the actual price comes out as 'change orders' later. We don't work that way.
About pricing
Wide range. A few thousand dollars for a two-room interior repaint; up to the high teens or more for a full whole-house exterior with cabinets and trim. The variables (size, condition, prep, paint grade, coastal vs. inland) matter more than the average.
About the work itself
Each written proposal identifies the proposed coating system, including primer and finish coat counts for the work areas in scope. Coat-count, product line, and prep conditions are documented in the signed proposal and contract.
About the warranty
3 years standard on residential exterior repaints. Up to 5 years on the premium exterior package. 1 year on residential interior and commercial work. Spelled out in writing in a 3-page document signed alongside your contract.
About license, insurance, and trust
Yes. CSLB License #803527, active and held continuously since 2002. License classification C-33 (Painting and Decorating Contractor). Fully insured with general liability and workers' comp. COI sent before any work starts on commercial or HOA jobs.
Other
Yes. Specific payment terms (deposit, progress payments, final payment) are in your written contract.
